Vodacom of South Africa looking to invest in Sierra Leone

Vodacom Group of South Africa has expressed interest in investing in telecommunications in Sierra Leone.

This was revealed by Mohamed Bangura, Sierra Leone's director-general of the National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM).

A delegation from Vodacom has visited the capital, Freetown, and met officials from the commission and the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The delegation held fruitful business discussions with representatives of the government of Sierra
