Haiti ends ban on imported Dominican poultry, eggs in bid to resolve diplomatic & trade spat

The Dominican Republic says Haiti has lifted a ban on imports of Dominican poultry and eggs - an issue that set off tensions between the neighboring nations when it was imposed late last year.

Dominican Agriculture Minister Luis Ramon Rodriguez said Thursday he received notice of the move from his counterpart in Haiti, Jacques Thomas.
