Obama Promotes Policy Plans in Wisconsin

U.S. President Barack Obama is making stops in Wisconsin and Tennessee to promote the policy plans he laid out earlier this week in his State of the Union Address. The president began the day by visiting a General Electric-owned gas-engine facility near Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

He stated that businesses like General Electric have created millions of new jobs and helped bring the unemployment rate to its lowest in five years. He also called 2014 a "breakthrough year for America," saying that
