Wednesday will mark a notable day in Metro Detroit television history as WXYZ (Channel 7, an ABC affiliate) will launch BOUNCE TV, considered in a press release as "the nation's first broadcast TV network designed for African-American audiences."
The new network can be seen on channel 7.3; WXYZ is the first Scripps-owned station in the country to offer The Bounce TV network.
This new network is a multicast channel; the addition won't affect the original WXYZ station's ABC affiliation
