Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago rattled by earthquakes

Barbados has been rattled twice within a 24 hour period by earthquakes that also affected Trinidad & Tobago, according to reports generated by the Seismic Unit of the University of the West Indies.

The report said that on Monday, earthquakes occurred north of Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados respectively during the period 2:15 a.m. (1:15 a.m. EST) and 6:00 a.m. (5:00 a.m. EST).

Both magnitudes of the earthquakes were 3.6 and depths of 56 km (35 miles) and 27 km (17 miles) respectively
