Mia Mottley
Mia Mottley has been elected leader of the opposition Barbados Labor Party.
Ms. Mottley replaces Owen Arthur under whose leadership, the Barbados Labor Party lost the election to the Democratic Labor Party of incumbent Prime Minister Freundel Stuart in the general elections held last week on February 21.
Mottley could become the first woman prime minister of Barbados - should the Barbados Labor Party win the next general elections under her
