Haiti: Earthquake in Port-au-Prince causes panic

A small earthquake shook the capital of Haiti - Port-au-Prince, on Monday, causing people in the capital to scramble out of buildings in fear.

U.S. Geological Survey seismologist Susan Hoover said the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.5. The epicenter was 27 kilometers northeast of Port-au-Prince and was relatively shallow at 10 kilometers deep.
