Amina Mohamed
Ambassador Amina Mohamed has been recommended for the position of Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The post falls vacant on August 31,2013, when incumbent Pascal Lamy’s term as Director-General expires.
According to its' website, the WTO deals with the global rules of trade between nations. Its main function is to ensure that trade flows as smoothly, predictably and freely as possible.
