Tope Folarin is named 2013 winner of the 2013 Caine Prize for African Writing

Author Tope Folarin (pictured), has been named as the winner of the 2013 Caine Prize for African Writing for his "utterly compelling" short story Miracle.

Miracle is a tale of faith and deceit in an evangelical Nigerian church in Texas where the congregation has gathered to witness the healing powers of a blind pastor-prophet.
