University of the West Indies looking to actively reach out to Africa

Incoming principal of the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona campus, Professor Archibald McDonald, says if the institution is to remain viable, it will have to find new and creative ways to attract not just local students, but students from Africa.

McDonald said the university could not continue to focus on just the Caribbean region to fill the seats in the institution.
