It is now becoming apparent that popular Newark Mayor Cory Booker will be the next senator next senator from New Jersey.
According to latest reports, Booker has outraised his Republican opponent Steve Lonegan by a factor of 8-to-1, totaling US$11.2 million compared to Lonegan's US$1.35 million.
The fundraising total for Booker puts him on par with other top New Jersey politicians, including Senator Bob Menendez (Democrat) and New Jersey
