Lorraine C. Miller, pictured, has been named Interim President and CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
Ms. Miller will be replacing Benjamin Jealous who will be stepping down from the helm of the organization at the end of this year.
According to informed sources within the NAACP, a search comittee has been formed to select a new leader of the 104-year-old organization.
