Former U.S. Secy. of State.,Condoleezza Rice turns down offer to head Penn State University

Former United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice (pictured), has rejected attempts at wooing her to Penn State University as a successor to President Rodney Erickson, who plans on retiring by the end of June next year.

Rice, who served under George W. Bush, was not interested in the university’s top post.

According to Ms. Rice’s chief of staff, Georgia Godfrey, she (Rice), will remain at Stanford University, where she is a senior fellow on public policy at the Hoover
