The head of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) has indicated that there are some members of the NYPD (New York Police Department) opposed to the city's policy of street stops - known simply as "stop and frisk"
Benjamin Jealous, president of the NAACP, told a Brooklyn church congregation on Sunday that the civil rights group is hearing from its members who are NYPD officers.
