Tata Consulting Engineers awarded contract by Dangote Group for its proposed fertilizer plant

The Dangote Group has awarded Indian engineering company, Tata Consulting Engineers, a contract to provide project management consultancy services for its new US$1.9 billion fertilizer plant.

The proposed plant will have an initial prodution capacity of 2,200 tonnes per day (TPD) of ammonia and 7,700 tonnes per day of granulated urea and will be largest fertilizer plant in Nigeria, and by extension Africa.
