Kenya Government to Shave Down Part of Public Sector Wage Bill

President Uhuru Kenyatta plans to slash public servants’ wages in an effort to allocate more funding to the country’s development. Kenya's president has ordered a 20 per cent pay cut for all parastatal heads in his quest to manage the country's wage bill, which has more than doubled in the last five years.
